A married couple, in the midst of a divorce and full of grief and guilt for the death of their child, breakdown on a quiet country road and are forced to spend the night in a small dilapidated motel, but when they find some rather disturbing videotapes in their room they soon realise that they are about to become stars of a new snuff film and frantically try to find a means of escape, in Antal’s gripping and well-made if slightly familiar and implausible horror film, most notable for its subverting of a few clichés.
