An eighteen-year-old girl, who has recently had a cochlear implant, witnesses the murder of a police officer whilst staying with her homicide detective uncle and his family, and in so doing uncovers a raft of police corruption, putting hers and her family's lives in danger, in this brave, gripping thriller-cum-well observed family drama.
