Gerard Johnson presents a strangely compassionate, gently blackly comic, and utterly convincing portrait of Tony, a London tower block dwelling perma-unemployed man with a bowl cut hairstyle, large glasses, and a ‘70s ‘tache, who spends his time watching rubbish ‘80s action films, haggling with eastern European prostitutes, frequenting gay bars, and hacking up into little pieces anyone who is unfortunate enough to step foot into his squalid little flat.
