Let down somewhat by an incongruously upbeat score, Daly’s otherwise convincingly acted and strikingly photographed film follows the misadventures of a pair of young runaways, who flee to the mean streets of multi-cultural Dublin to escape their unhappy home-lives, encountering friendly dredgers, buskers, and prostitutes along the way, as well as a few less reputable characters.
