In Anderson’s small and whimsical yet beautifully human look at the capricious nature of love and coupling, which is as delightful and romantic as its Bossa Nova soundtrack, a pair of well-drawn Bostonians, seemingly destined to be together, almost but not quite (until the end, at least) meet as they go about their daily, lovelorn lives.
